Our paper was selected for front cover on Advanced Energy Materials (Vol. 8, No. 27, September 2018)

In article number 1801854, Sang Yoon Park, Soo‐Jin Park, Le Hoang Sinh, Min Kyoon Shin, and co‐workers demonstrate a simple and scalable method to fabricate a paper‐based yarn‐type supercapacitor from twisting reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and single walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs)‐coated Korean traditional paper (KTP). The yarn‐type rGO/SWNT@KTP supercapacitor shows excellent electrochemical performance and long‐life operation.

Paper "Large‐Scale Conductive Yarns Based on Twistable Korean Traditional Paper (Hanji) for Supercapacitor Applications: Toward High‐Performance Paper Supercapacitors" was published in Advanced Energy Materials

A simple and scalable method to fabricate yarn‐type supercapacitors from reduced graphene oxide or/and single walled carbon nanotube coated Korean traditional paper is reported. The supercapacitor shows good mechanical strength, excellent electrochemical performance with maximum gravimetric specific capacitance of 366 F g−1 and without any sacrifice of electrochemical performance, up to 10 000 charge–discharge cycles.

Paper "Freestanding, Fiber‐Based, Wearable Temperature Sensor with Tunable Thermal Index for Healthcare Monitoring" was published in Advanced Healthcare Materials

A freestanding, wearable, fiber‐based temperature sensor is presented, which can easily be integrated into clothing such as socks and undershirts and can be worn by a person to monitor the temperature of the environment around the person and the temperature of the person without interference from movement and activity. This sensing device has great potential for next‐generation wearable electronics.
